
Amy DeMaria is Managing Director and Co-Chair of the Healthcare Practice at Rational 360. With more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Amy has a proven track record of driving impactful marketing and communications strategies for some of the most respected organizations in the field. Her career includes leadership roles at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Aspen Institute, Georgetown University Medical Center, and Inspire, the world’s largest social network for health. Amy has also served as an aide to the U.S. Secretary of Health & Human Services and worked in the Healthcare Practice at the communications agency Porter Novelli.
Amy’s work has been recognized through awards from organizations such as Modern Healthcare, Advertising Age, and the Public Relations Society of America. In 2017, she was honored as Washington Women in PR’s Woman of the Year for her work positioning the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a leader in venture philanthropy–a philanthropic model in which private donations are invested in early-stage, mission-driven initiatives such as drug development or emerging technologies.
Amy holds an undergraduate degree from Emory University and has studied marketing and management at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
