Before joining LCV, Alfredo founded and operated ALRAS Academics, Inc., an online educational services company that provided in-home tutoring to students in South Florida as well as online writing services to clients across the United States. While running the company, Alfredo also helped launch ChangePolitics, an initiative by Change.org during the 2016 election to increase civic engagement and drive voter awareness, particularly around university and college campuses.
