Megan comes to Rational 360 from Rescue Social Change Group where she worked as the Policy Campaign Manager leading Y Street, an award winning youth advocacy program in Virginia. While with RSCG, Megan developed and managed campaigns devoted to improving public health by preventing youth tobacco use and reducing childhood obesity.
Prior to working at RSCG, Megan worked with the Capitol Chapter of the American Lung Association on the development of their annual Breathe Walk DC fundraising event. She also worked for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society – National Capitol Chapter on their annual Ambassador’s Ball and on their policy campaign to expand Medicaid drug coverage in Washington DC to include three new treatments for MS.
Megan began her career in Washington, D.C. at the Alzheimer’s Association were she authored materials for the Association’s annual Public Policy Forum and wrote testimony for Congressional hearings. In her spare time, Megan participates in the National MS Society’s annual BikeMS ride and works with the HERA Woman’s Cancer Foundation’s Climb4Life Program.
Megan received her Bachelors in Political Theory & Microbiology from Indiana University and received her Masters of Public Policy from George Mason University.
