Caryn Benisch is a communications strategist who executes results-driven public affairs campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, nonprofits, and thought leaders. Leveraging earned media, digital media, and grassroots advocacy strategies, Caryn develops crisis communications plans and integrated public affairs campaigns to drive legislative change and elevate complex issues such as healthcare, telecommunications, foreign affairs, and more.
Prior to joining Rational 360, Caryn was an associate producer for Middle East Broadcasting Networks, where she produced live current affairs television shows for Arab audiences. Following years of study and stints in Syria, Egypt, and Jordan, Caryn achieved professional proficiency in the Arabic language, and in 2008, she passed the FBI Foreign Language Test Battery. A New York native, Caryn was a congressional intern for U.S. Rep. Steve Israel (D-NY).
Caryn received her Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bates College, where she was inducted into the Scholar Athlete Society and was twice named captain of the Varsity Women’s Tennis Team.
